Interview: Quick&Eat at the Sport Unlimitech trade show in Paris

Held in several cities across France, Sport Unlimitech—chaired by Frédéric Michalak—has become a must-attend event for leaders in sports, innovation, and new technologies.

For three days, the event took place at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, bringing together companies, federations, associations, startups, researchers, and local governments to discuss the major challenges facing the future of sports: health, infrastructure, education, performance, and innovation.

Having already participated in the Toulouse event, LocaCuisines supported this new Paris event by setting up a fully equipped Quick&Eat module.

Could you tell us about Sport Unlimitech?

Karine HERMANN: “Sport Unlimitech is an ecosystem that brings together all stakeholders in the sports sector through forums held in various regions, with the aim of accelerating innovation and growth in this industry.”

Lille, Toulouse, Lyon, Paris: Why did you choose a touring format?

‍

“We decided to create this traveling exhibition to bridge the ‘last mile’ that no other organization is covering. Talented individuals and experts are working all over France but aren’t always visible. They find it easier to make themselves known when we come to meet them.”

Can you tell us about this first edition in Paris?

“This first event in Paris gave local stakeholders the opportunity to showcase the world of sports and the innovations driving it.
The goal, right in the heart of Paris, was to launch a movement that brings together all stakeholders—companies, researchers, clubs, federations, associations, local governments, athletes, investors, and startups—to create genuine synergies.”
