120,000 customers expected over three days. A space measuring just 15 m². Six people in the kitchen. And just a few hours to get up and running.
For the 2026 Rose Festival, LocaCuisines set up a Quick&Eat for Eat Salad, enabling the brand to offer its food service menu during the three days of the festival at the MEETT in Aussonne, near Toulouse (31).
Salads, wraps, drinks, and desserts: To ensure efficient preparation, storage, and service in an environment with significant logistical challenges, Eat Salad needed a professional, compact, and immediately operational festival food stand.
A festival food stand designed to serve 8,000 customers
The requirement was simple: to have a dining area capable of operating for the entire duration of the festival, with a staff of six and the potential to serve 8,000 customers over three days.
Quick&Eat was designed specifically to accommodate this setup.
An Eat Salad menu tailored to the festival's pace
The store carried several of the brand's products:
- salads;
- wraps;
- beverages;
- desserts.
This service involves simultaneously managing cold storage, ingredient preparation, product assembly, and product presentation.
The layout of Quick&Eat was therefore designed to allow staff to work efficiently, while maintaining a layout suited to fast service.
15 m² for 6 people at the same time
Quick&Eat is a 15-square-meter food service container designed for snack bars and event catering.
At Eat Salad, the space was organized to allow six people to work at the same time.
The layout should ensure that functional work areas are maintained and that movement remains sufficiently smooth during peak periods.
Equipment tailored to each stage of the service
The Quick&Eat station set up for Eat Salad included, among other things:
- refrigerated refrigerated cabinets for storage;
- a refrigerated tower to store products near the preparation station;
- a ingredient display case to organize the preparation of salads and other fresh produce;
- a display case for retail;
- a ultra-fast oven ;
- of the tabling for the various workstations.
Each piece of equipment was installed based on the store's operations and layout.

Quick&Eat: A Turnkey Solution for Food Festivals
For a festival, the food service infrastructure must be available in the right place at the right time. Choosing a fully equipped container helps minimize the amount of work that needs to be done on-site.
Quick&Eat is specifically designed for this type of event setup. LocaCuisines offers it as a temporary food court and fast-food solution, delivered by a crane truck and then set up on site.
A food service trailer designed for events
Unlike a simple retail space, Quick&Eat directly incorporates the equipment needed to operate a restaurant.
The module can therefore be configured according to the business concept: snacking, street food, fast food, or a specialized food offering.
For Eat Salad, the goal was to have a space suitable for preparing and selling fresh products throughout the Rose Festival.
Installation and connections handled by LocaCuisines
The installation process does not end with the placement of the container.
The LocaCuisines teams handled:
- delivery and placement of the Quick&Eat;
- installation of the module;
- the connections;
- electrical connections;
- commissioning;
- After-sales support during the event.
This allows the operator to focus on its offerings and service, while LocaCuisines manages the technical infrastructure.
Rose Festival: A Quick&Eat Set Up in Half a Day
At a festival, the setup schedule is particularly tight. Access to the site is regulated, technical zones must be respected, and crane operations must be coordinated with other installations.
The deployment must therefore be prepared in advance.
Access restrictions specific to festivals
An event venue is not a typical construction site.
Vehicles must be able to access their work areas, delivery schedules must be adhered to, and the placement of equipment must be planned in advance so as not to disrupt other assembly operations.
For the Rose Festival, these constraints were taken into account during the planning of the Quick&Eat installation.
Crane Operations, Connections, and Commissioning
Once the container was in place, the LocaCuisines teams carried out the necessary steps to get it up and running: installation, wiring, and water connections.
The goal: to quickly transform a container delivered to the site into a fully operational dining area.
A module that can be implemented in half a day
Eat Salad's Quick&Eat was installed and made operational in half a day.
This is a key consideration in the context of a festival: the faster the setup, the more flexibility the organizers have in their setup schedule.
For other events, LocaCuisines also deploys Quick&Eat units, which can be set up very quickly, particularly at the Orange Vélodrome Stadium.

Three Days of Culinary Delights at the Heart of the Rose Festival
The 2026 Rose Festival was held from August 27 to 29, 2026, at MEETT, with booths open from 2:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. on Thursday and from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Over the course of those three days, Quick&Eat provided Eat Salad with a dedicated professional space for its restaurant business.
An organization designed for six team members
With six people able to work simultaneously in the module’s 15 m² of space, the layout was essential.
The equipment was arranged to bring the products, preparation, and service areas closer together, while ensuring that the layout supports teamwork.
An infrastructure designed for high-traffic environments
A festival concentrates crowds into short periods of time. The food service area must therefore be able to operate in an environment where the pace of service can vary significantly throughout the day.
Quick&Eat offers a compact, professional-grade system, with all necessary equipment built directly into the module.
Support that continues throughout the event
Installation does not mark the end of the service.
After-sales support was included during the module's operation. This is an important consideration for a temporary event: in the event of a technical issue, the operator has a dedicated LocaCuisines contact person.
A temporary food service solution tailored for festivals
This project at the Rose Festival illustrates a common need in the events industry: quickly setting up a professional food service area without building permanent infrastructure.
Quick&Eat can therefore be used in a variety of settings: festivals, concerts, sporting events, trade shows, and other events that attract large crowds. LocaCuisines has deployed this format at the Stade de France, We Love Green, and other events.
For organizers looking to set up a festival food court, increase the number of food stalls, or expand an existing offering, shipping containers provide a recognizable, fully equipped, and quickly deployable infrastructure.
A fully operational food stand for the Rose Festival
With this project, LocaCuisines helped Eat Salad set up a festival food stand tailored to the specific requirements of the Rose Festival: limited space, high foot traffic, quick setup, and the need for infrastructure that would be immediately operational.
From transportation to crane operations, and from connections to equipment installation, the LocaCuisines teams handled the entire technical process.
Are you planning a festival, concert, or event and looking for a fully equipped temporary catering solution? LocaCuisines can help you determine the right scale and set up your operation.
